Building Updates
We are proud to partner with SouthEastern General Contractors as we begin this exciting new chapter for Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary. As a local business rooted in our community, their team understands the unique challenges we’ve faced over the years and share in our commitment to building a safe, lasting future for the cats who call BCR home. Owner Ralphael grew up right here in Robeson County and recognizes not only the importance of our mission, but the need for a facility designed with intention, durability, and care. Their deep connection to this area and genuine passion for animal welfare make them an ideal partner in bringing our vision to life. SouthEastern General Contractors is more than just a builder, they are true supporters of what we do. As fellow cat lovers, they understand that this project is not just about construction, but about creating a forever home where blind, FeLV+, and FIV+ cats will continue to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity for generations to come.

Our new building is the next step in providing the best possible care for our cats. By bringing everything under one roof, we will create a more efficient, organized, and supportive environment with dedicated spaces for medical care, quarantine, daily living, and enrichment. This will allow us to better meet the complex needs of blind, FeLV+, and FIV+ cats while maintaining the high standards of care they deserve. In addition, the new space will give us more room to welcome visitors and involve our community. With thoughtfully designed areas for tours, education, and volunteer support, we will be able to expand our outreach while ensuring the cats remain comfortable and stress-free. This building is not just about the space. It’s about creating a stronger, more connected future for the cats and the people who care about them.
