Vinny
Blind Gender: Male Approximate age: 3 years old Arrived From: Elizabethtown, NC Arrival Day: March 24, 2026 Vinny’s story began on one of the coldest days North Carolina had seen that year, when a concerned neighbor spotted a small, helpless cat clinging to a tree. Blind and vulnerable, Vinny had somehow made it up there. Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman stepped in, bringing him to safety and giving him the warmth and care he so desperately needed. She searched for his family, hoping someone might be missing this sweet boy. Days turned into weeks, but no one came forward. Realizing Vinny needed a place where he could truly thrive, she reached out to us, and we knew we had to say yes. Despite his blindness, Vinny hasn’t let anything dim his spirit. He’s incredibly resilient, learning to navigate the world in his own way. He’s such a playful guy and has already won the hearts of every single person who has met him. From the family who rescued him, to the vet office, and of course everyone at BCR. We are the luckiest people alive to be able to witness his light. Vinny has been neutered and is currently recovering from that and once he has finished his vaccine schedule, he will be ready to go into his room and make friends!
