Rachelle and her son were visiting the cats Monday and I mentioned that we needed to
get a new cat climber for house 2 because it was falling apart. She asked how much did we need and offered to buy it for us. I got online and found a company with great trees, prices and free shipping and ordered a super new tree for the cats. This wonderful company saw the order, took a look at what we do for the cats and sent us a sweet letter giving us a second tree for FREE! Welcome to the website for Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. We were started to answer the need for a safe place for blind cats that were deemed unadoptable by regular shelters and were going to be killed just because they are blind.

Thanks to the wonderful generosity from alot of wonderful people, we have built house number 3! THANK YOU!!! Building these houses give us the ability to save the lives of 36 wonderful loving blind cats that were facing certain death in animal control facilities.

Do you want to help an animal in need but can't adopt? Then sponsoring is for you! For as little as $1. per day, less than the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help a blind cat. You will receive a certificate of sponsorhip with a photo of an animal you have helped and periodic updates.
Looking for the perfect birthday or holiday gift? A sponsorship certificate can be mailed out to the person of your choice!

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is To provide shelters and rescues with blind cats who are not able to find a suitable adoptive home for these animals an alternative to euthanizing them.
And to give people who are unable to continue caring for their blind cat, and who have been unable to place these animals with friends, relatives, or no-kill adoption groups a sanctuary where their animals will receive a lifetime of love and care.
