ANDY
7/17 Andy was living the life of a stray, begging for food door to door. No one would help him. He lived like this for a very long time. Finally an angel stepped in. She discovered that the people he had depended on for food, etc had decided to starve him out. She went and found him. He had a bad abscess on his head from being attacked by another animal. This poor fellow was still very friendly towards humans! She took him to the vet and that is where she discovered he was Leukemia positive. The vet said euthanize. She said no way, she was going to try to find a place that could take him. He has been fixed, we are getting him healthy and then he will move into his room. He is such a nice fellow. Seems to be very thankful for a soft bed and plenty of food. Update: He is just the nicest cat! Gets along well with all the other cats. You may watch him LIVE 24 hours a day on his Meshare Camera. He is in House 2, room 1 http://blindcatrescue.com/watchus.htm Sponsored by Stacy - Thank you! Sponsored by Lisa - Thank you! Sponsored by Kellie - Thank you!

When he first arrived
Now
10/01/18 RIP Andy. Andy has been fighting mouth problems for months, pain meds, accupuncture, eastern meds, dentals etc It had progressed to mouth cancer. Today it was clearly time to let this sweet baby go. He was in pain, not eating, cried when we gave him meds, this is not quality of life. The vet and I agreed that we had exhausted everything that could be done to help him. He was such a sweet fellow, he purred in my arms to the end. We will miss him. We were so blessed to have had him with us for 14 months.
