Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary is a lifetime care sanctuary located in St. Pauls, North Carolina. We provide a safe forever home for blind cats, leukemia- and FIV-positive cats, and who often have nowhere else to go. In 2005, we built our first building as a safe place for blind cats who were deemed unadoptable by traditional shelters and faced certain euthanasia simply because they were blind. In 2011, we added a second shelter building to provide a safe place for leukemia positive (FeLV+) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+) cats who otherwise would have been euthanized. For more than 20 years, we have provided safety, consistent medical care, and love to more than 400 cats. As we are preparing for the next exciting chapter, building a new facility designed specifically for the cats' long-term medical and sanctuary needs. We are raising $2 million to complete this new building, which will allow us to improve air quality, sanitation, medical care and overall quality of life for the cats who depend on us for the rest of their lives. We are a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) in the state of North Carolina. Our tax dentification number is 20-3410498, and all donations are tax deductible, secure, and greatly appreciated.
